rmvb

I have an rmvb file. I try to convert it to avi (mpeg4) but it instantly jumps to "successful" and doesn't create a file. Am I out of luck?

ffmpeg is not able to decode RM, only mencoder. The 'bus error' which you obtained with mencoder happens with some files. I fixed it and 0.0.9t will be able to decode them.

Thanks. I went to the download page and I only see "s" as available for download. Will "t" be available soon?

Yes, it should be ready quite soon, unfortunately I can't promise the exact release date.
