  1. I use ULead DVD Workshop 2.0 to create menus and author my DVDs.

When I import an MPEG2 file into UDW, I have specific points in specific scenes that I want to use as chapter thumbnails. The Timecode Display on the Navigation Panel allows me to type in the exact hour/minute/second that I want. However, when I click on the 1/100th of a second numbers and type in a specific point in the video (for instance, 12/100), it rounds it up or down to a higher number (for instance 27/100), which takes me past the exact point where I want to set my chapter thumbnail.

It might sound like I'm tweaking it too tightly, but the audio begins at a certain point and the rounding up often puts my chapter thumbnail at a point where the audio has already begun.

I looked through the Preferences and other settings to see if there was a setting I could change to allow me to jump by specific 1/100ths of a second, but there's nothing there.

Thanks for any help that anyone could give me.

  2. Never mind. For anyone who might have that problem, there is a box about finding the I-Frame. That box has to be unchecked. Otherwise, it jumps to a specific frame.

  3. No, that didn't solve the whole problem. Unchecking the box allows me to go to a specific timecode, but now the Add Chapter button is grayed out. Any ideas?
