Hi everybody, im new here and im brazilian, so dont expect from me a good english.
I dont now very well the forum so i dont know where i should put my question right away, my doubt is:

ive made a backup of a movie(star wars 2)and this movie is the kind of we cant change the language and the subtitle when the movie is passing, just in the menu, so i cant enable the subtitles, since ive put the menus away when backing up. Do anybody know how to enable those tings without the menu?

    Thanks anyway

Depending on the model of DVD player you are using, your remote control might have a "Subtitle" button. My players all have them, even my cheapo ones. They are listed variously as "Sub", "ST", and "SubT" so maybe look for something like that on your remote.

Most players will allow you to turn them on/off while viewing....assuming of course that you didnt put the subtitles away also.

I think you guys are not understanding...
I can enable the subs in the player of my computer, cause I use the right button etc.
But with my dvdplayer i cant enable those, when i push the button referent to the subs nothing happens, ive been backing up a lot of movies, i think this is a particular thing of this specific movie, do you know what i mean?

  5. I think he may be talking about Closed Captioning rather then the built in subtitles.

  6. No hes talking about subtitles. I am not sure how to fix it but I recently had the same problem with the Princess Mononoke DVD. The only way to turn on subs or change audio was from the menu.

Hi. If you want me to help you in Brazilian Portuguese - if you feel more comfortable this way - you can PM me and we'll try to fix this. You said you made a backup....What application did you use to do the job? Did you check all boxes for languages, soundtrack and subtitles (usually in English and Brazilian Portuguese)?
