    Hi,

    Check it out:

It's nice to have this hooked up finally. I used to have one of these am/fm cassette players but I got rid of it. So I got a new one in a garage sale for $5. The top one is the stereo and the bottom one is my stereo vcr. This is great to have this much analog equipment right next to my computer.

I can do a realtime dub of audio or video and have a burnable audio or mpg video file in no time.

What kind of setup do you have???

This is my AV conversion station:

I use a stereo cassette deck which works with the different tape formulation types I have, especially the Type II high bias and Type IV metal tapes and run all of my audio output through my mixer before I send it to my PC. Pretty awesome to have all of your AV equipment in one place.

    Thanks for the compliment

As seen here, here's the other half of my setup:

I have the satelitte and VCR running to an input to the DV deck at the bottom, and from there I run the output from the DV deck via Firewire to the computer. The DV deck makes a nice passthrough for all of my devices connected to it. And when I do my edits on the PC, I can see my work as I edit on my TV screen (via DV input on the Firewire from PC) so I see exactly how its going to turn out. May not be a broadcast-type setup and equipment, but it gets the job done.
