    I've seen threads locked due to a poster going over the line. Case in point, https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1331014#1331014

    Now to be honest, this thread had probably run it's course and probably needed to be locked. But, for those instances where it's just the one post that causes a thread to be locked would it not be possible for the mods to delete or edit the offending post?

  2. It is possible to remove a post and we do this
    from time to time. Other times we just lock the
    topic because it shows what and what is not
    acceptable behaviour. To remove problem posts
    all the time would increase our workload.
