I purchased the USB Instant DVD product and found one annoying oversite, there is no way to change the bitrate of the SVCD standards in the Ulead Video Studio program. This presented a problem because most people would like to raise or lower the bitrate depending on the quality and disk space desired.
I noticed that the SVCD_par files are not able to be edited and after speaking with Ulead "tough luck". I know the Instant DVD has its own utility that enables you to do this but it works terribly, I end up with sync problems and some of the parameters are not explained at all.
If anyone using Video Studio knows how to change the bitrate of the video being recorded on the fly please let me know.
One more thing, Video studio allows you to edit and change the bitrates after you have recorded the video. This would be great if the video didn't have a sync problem and loss of quality once the operation is completed.
I want to be able to edit the templates or create my own.....remember during the recording phase.
Thanks,
Ernest
