Why? Why when we rip just some chapters of a dvd, the chapter list, in the ifo file, isn't updated automatically?

DVDShrink updates the IFO if you use the Start/End feature to isolate a select few chapters. More often than not I've found that I either need to create a new IFO for each chapter VOB (if I've split VOBs by chapter), or I can simply import the VOB straight into TDA and don't need the IFO.
You're gonna have to give more information about exactly how you've gona about your ripping, whether you had file-splitting by chapter turned on or not and perhaps a little bit of info regarding what you expected your ripping software to do.If in doubt, Google it. -
Thanks for you answer. I dont't remenber right now why I did ask this, maybe because the virtualdub vobsub filter uses the ifo file to rip the subtitles. :d
