How can I get the audio stream out of a MOV file? I have opened it up in GoldWave but the end result plays at half speed and obviously isn't right. Is there an application that can extract audio streams from QuickTime files?

If you have Quicktime Pro, in the EDIT menu there is an option to extract the tracks.

Thanks for that. Amazingly enough, I just tried to do it using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 in conjunction with the TMPGEnc Mov plug-in and it worked to my utter amazement!
I just told it to output a PCM audio stream instead of the usual MP2 and lo and behold it worked. Amazing what you learn when you try.
