Hey guys, just a quick question please. My little son has just scored the goal of the century in his under 10's soccer match. I recorded it on my DVD-RAM video camera and the footage looks great. I uploaded it to my pc and burnt a dvd and it looks great. My problem is I wanted to add some sound effects to the footage. Using premier 6.5 I did that successfully but when I burnt the dvd the quick action shots (like the ball flying through the air) all became 'jerky'. Everything was still in sync and the slow moving frames looked normal. My camera records directly in mpeg format so i used DVD2AVI to convert the file so premier could edit. I then used NERO to burn the disc. What have I done wrong? I've searched the site but couldn't find any answers that I could understand. Please help in newbie terms....

Your video is already DVD compliant, so unless you want to edit the video, you shouldn't touch it. Load your project back into premiere, and output just the audio track. Download the demo version of DVD Lab (You don't need the Pro version for this) Import the video track, and the new audio track. Author these together and burn. No reencoding of the video, no jerkiness, just your original video and new audio as a DVD.
