I need help with the tracking of my tapes being played on the JVC HR-S9600U. I need to manuel-set the tracking, but I can't figure a way how. The audio is either muffled and video jumps or audio is staticy and video is perfect (my experiance with two different tapes).
I bought this VCR off of Ebay, and it didn't come with a manuel. Does anyone know of a manuel for this VCR online?

When playing a tape press the channel UP/DOWN to adjust the tracking manually.
If there is still static in the sound switch to MONO audio.
And try here for JVC manuals?

I finally understand how to work the manual tracking. I have to press both of the channel up/down till I can set the tracking.
Thanks! -
The unit could also be out of alignment if NOTHING wants to track right.
