here it is. how do I put my .jpg collection of photos on vcd and be able to have them spend 10 seconds or so on the screen and pass to the next one in line? I have tried to convert them to mpeg1 and then join the mpeg1 files with TMPenc -then burn with nero. what happens is that i get only the first picture on the screen. i can't get either windows media player or my dvd player (which plays my vcds) to play past the first picture of the group. Obviously I am clueless. Can anyone help?

thanks again for your help so far

  2. It's very simple if you have Nero. Simply convert all your images to 704x480 (704x576 in PAL) jpeg's. Then drag the images into Nero in VCD mode. I believe you can put around 2000 images on one disk. To set the display lenght per image, right click on the image file in Nero, select properties, and select how many seconds of delay you want before the next image is displayed. Then burn the disk.

  3. skittelsen is right. Nero accepts JPGs and u can have your slideshow in a jiffy. If u want background music to go with your slideshow u should use Winoncd 3.8 PE instead. Good Luck...

  4. Remember, for photos on VCDs, you should correct for the aspect ratio problem as described here: http://www.vcdhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=38352&forum=1

If you don't, people look too fat in PAL or too skinny in NTSC. The demo VCD has an explanation of this too with some illustrations of what I mean.
