I've, got my 5.1 speakers today i configured all drivers and eerything, so i now have full fledged 5.1 sound.

so, i listen to musicn and in games, i get the full effect. now, i try to listen to an AC3 movie with 6-channel sound (5.1) and some with 5-channel sound (4.1). unfortunately, i get no different effects, i can barely hear the audio coming out of hte rear speakers, and thats when i press my ear to it, same with the front channel speaker. is there some other setting i must do with the AC3 Filter or something?

i have calibrated my speakers thorough my card (creative audigy 2) and thast why music and other stuff sounds right

if it makes a difference, the speakers are Logitech X-530

    thanks

The Creative Audigy 2 sound card comes with its own hardware AC3 decoder. Try enabling SPDIF in the audio settings of the software player eg PowerDVD.

Also, ensure 5.1 speaker setup is selected under the creative speaker settings.
