I have about 6 avi files that I want to join into one file and convert it to a vob file so I can watch it on my dvd player.

I was going to join all the 6 avi files into one, and then use WinAVI to convert it to dvd vob files, but I don't know what programs to use for joining. Can anyone help me on what to do? or link me to a tutorial that does what I'm looking at doing, thanks.

    1) Encode each AVI to DVD specs mpg. (TMPGEnc or other encoder)
    2) If it's 6 parts of the same movie (that are to be played in uninterrupted sequence), add all 6 to the same title, remove chapter point at joins.
If it's 6 different movies, create 6 titles, add each mpg to one title.

Use TMPGEnc DVD Author (30 day trial available) for step 2.

It's easier if you don't think of VOBs as files - they are parts of a Video DVD, and not something you convert anything into - they are parts of what an authoring app (like TDA) outputs.
