Hi,
Right I'm trying desperatly to import a .srt sub into a Encore project. Using Subtitle work shop I save the .srt file using the "Adobe Encore DVD" option in the "save as" section, however when I try and import the subtitle Encore pops up with "Unable to import script. This is not a unicode file. Try resaving as a UTF-8 or UTF-16 and reimport". Help! Encore is fighting me all the way. If it would just be easier to use another program say and I'll concider buying it. Oh its encore 1.5 if that makes a difference.
-How.

1) Open Encore TXT subtitle file with "Notepad"
2) File => Save As...
3) In save dialog change from "ANSI" to "Unicode" and click Save.
Import saved subtitle file to Encore.
