    I am using Cyberlink to record my video from the VCR. I can set everything to be VCD compliant from there, But when I go to burn the VCD with Nero is states that the file is not VCD compliant. I can use tmpge to convert it and I get the same thing from Nero. What would happen if I turned Nero's compliance testing off?

    Though I don't copy from VCR, the message you receive from Nero is common. I use TMPGEnc too with Nero. I just ignore that compliance message and burn it anyway. Seems to work just fine.
