  1. Hello everyone,

Here is he deal, i´m trying to convert a avi/XviD (800X320) to DVD (720X480), but when the TMPGenc finish the job, the image runs frame by frame like slow motion. The video is very big to decompress to RGB (around 72GB decompressed) and i don´t know what to do, please somebody give me a light. Thanks so much.

  3. Hi Baldrick,

I just ended the test with the DivxtoDVD software and the problem remains, this is a pain in the ass because in other videos with a lower resolution everything goes fine.

Use avisynth to resize the avi down to DVD res and frameserve to your encoder. No need to decompress out to a new file, as avisynth will decompress on the fly as it frameserves.

I suspect that you have a more serious problem with the file though, given the output you are getting.
