Hello guys...I recently bought some dvd's of old wrestling tapes from the mid 80's to mid 90's unfortuantly they are all transfered from home vhs's...and the quality is really bad...I'm wanting to redo the dvd's to add menu's and was wanting to know if there is anyway that a)I can improve the quality of the dvd's...or b)any place that can do it?
    Thanks,
    Jeffrey

You can add menus, but there is little or nothing you can do to fix the video. You could re-encode it and apply some filters, but that would only make a bad thing worse.

    Crap in = Crap out

There maybe a few tools that can enhance certain areas but you will be loosing something in other areas.

To create a dvd, check out some guides on the left under Authoring.

Converting video to another lossy format will always result in a degrade in quality.

Best way to fix analog video is with hardware, once it's converted to digital there's not a whole lot you can do with it. If you have a lot of noise in the video and that is what your looking to clean up there's noise removal filters. Using them lightly can sometimes produce slightly better results but at the expense of detail. Too much and everthing starts to look like plastic.
