is there any way to permenantly add a subtitle (.srt) to an avi file? i know there is way by encoding it to mpeg with virtualdub and tmpg, but i need for it to stay an avi. mpeg takes to much space. thanks in advanced.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

install vobsub, be sure to select vobsub for virtualdub and textsub for avsynth and virtualdub under plugins when you install it.
you should now have textsub in the Video->Filter in virtualdub. add the filter and the sub and save as a new avi.
