WinOnCD 5 basicly includes a basic VideoPack 5 in it, and you pay a fortune for a program that does less then the free tools you can download, such as TSCV and VCDEasy.

I was very disappointed, especialy with the size of it, 60mb for what a 1.8mb software can do, those bloatware programmers should really start developing decent software.

Branroyal, Do not say useless. Most of the people come here to know a simple method to convert videos and put in to VCD. WinOnCD does that.

Talking about SEGMENT, I agree. winOnCD lacks.

Who wants this feature? Only professional VCD maker or advanced people like you and sefy etc.. I can include my name too ....

Normal people ( I can say 80% of the users reading this forum) they don't care about segment.


Which s/w includes a good player like "Roxio VCD player" on CD to play (autorun) on PC?
Which s/w includes a html version of PHOTO album Plus, Normal PHOTO VCD on one CD ?

vp4 and winoncd3.7 did it. im amazed on how artisticly well roxio have made the series, while hacking out the all around use of the tools. its good for traditional vcd creation, but if thats what the readers come here for, they could save alot of reading and just use easy cd creator 5 for vcd. pushing the ante of vcd creation is what we all strive for, roxio is a pretty basic programming company of tools that could be much much better.

gsashok, for what you pay on WinOnCD 5, I think most common users would prefer using the free tools which provide better control, and not have to pay for it

Sefy, Can TSCV do motion button menu? If it could, I would agree with you.

I'm not 100% sure of it, but I do no it can do motion menus, you can ask Aenema Tool (TTool) on his webpage, he will be able to answer you about all the features of TSCV.
