    When I try to convert a wav file I have to mp3, the mp3 comes out really slow. It sounds like its in slow motion. This happens no matter what program I use. I have no idea what to do. Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  2. What sample rate(44.1,48,etc) and bit depth(8,16,24) is the WAV?
    Right-click on the file and select Properties,some converters have a problem if the WAV isn't 44.1kHz/16bit.
    Try www.cdwave.com or Goldwave to convert.

    Heres what my file says:

    Bit Rate - 5644kbps
    Audio sample size - 16 bit
    Channels - 8 (how is this possible? my file is in stereo, isn't that just 2 channel?)
    Audio sample rate - 44Khz
    Audio format - PCM

    I tried to burn my audio to a cd, and it said it was 91 minutes long, when its really only 24 minutes.

  4. 8ch=5644kbps
    2ch=1411kbps
    You need to use a program that can split 8ch audio( besweet,AC3Tool or goldwave ),then save the first two channels or select 2ch stereo.

    Thanks a lot moviegeek. You're a big help. Now, how would I go about splitting this 8 channel audio? Is there some guide I can use? Because besweet is confusing the hell out of me.

    Yes! I used a program called Audacity to remove the useless channels. It let me save it as an mp3. It works! Thanks a lot moviegeek. You're the man.
