I have been putting together a project with Vegas 6. I'm still new to the software and have a way to go before I'm comfortable with the layout and capabilities.
I just bought DVD Architect 3. When I fired it up I don't see my Vegas 6 project. Right now the Vegas 6 project is saved to what ever is the default file format. Do I need to save the project in a different format (MPEG2) prior to being able to open in Architect?
Thanks for your help!!

"Render As" --- pick a "DVD Architect" compatable format (under custom) or one that meets the DVD spec. This avoids a recode.

Thanks edDV! I'll give that a try. This is probably a newbie statement, but it seems like Architect would recognize the Vegas Movie Studio default file format without having to render to another file format.

a project is saved as a *.veg file --
you have to render it out as mpeg2 at some point - either in vegas or dvda4 , but not in both ..
go through the manual and tutorials ..
btw - you can not "buy" DVDA3 , so that makes no sense at all ..
which do you have ? movie studio or vegas+dvd3 because they are different apps ..."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
I have Vegas 6, and DVD 3.
I just burned by first dvd with Architect and while it basically worked, I have no idea how to use the buttons and templates at this point. Looks like I'll have to break down and read the manual, although I'm finding it hard to follow. I'll have to look for a CBT or some other type of learning materials.
Thanks! -
