I got Benq 822A DVD-RW and installed the latest drivers and firmware. I use Nero 6 to burn DVD-UDF data files. Burning completes succussfully however the disk is empty. I browse with Explorer (on this or other computer) and do not see any files. I've already coasted 3 disks this way. I do not remember disks manufacturer but they are decent and have good reviews. Also, when tyring to use the same disk again it gives me the message that some files have been written on the disk and since I am burning multisession DVD those files will be unaccessable.
PS. I hate this Benq writer. I bought the most expensive ($100) and the best rated writer at a time. It died on me 3 month later after me using it few times. I send it back to Benq, they replaced it. It worked again for few month (and few times) and now behaves strangely. The warranty period is over. What a piece of trash. I bought MadDog DVD-writer for $20 a year ago and it works like a charm and like a dog.
