Dear friends,

I am trying to re-author a DVD that I made with The Tpmgenc DVD Author, and I am getting a synch problem, thing that I thought that could happen only while capturing. This first DVD that I made, was a colletion of video chapters of a few DVDs. I am trying to re-author now with The DVD-Lab, because I would like to insert a first play movie, and I don't know or if it's possible to do so with The Tmpgenc dvd.

I have tried a lot of this. Most problems occurs right after the we demux the vobs, I guess. See what I did, p.e.:

1o.- I could not try the result of the vobedit, before I try to re-author the new dvd, because seems that it creates an audio with a codec that I didn't / don't have and couldn't be found for download.

2o. - The result with the dvd-lab, for demuxing, was a synch problem. It even did say that my audio file, a Linear PCM one, created with the TMPGEnc plus, and authored with the tmpgenc dvd author , had no header and it did try to create one by itself. Then I did try to re-author, without having to demux the vobs with it, but joining all the vobs. I did get a good synch file, a join.vob, but a bad result after the dvd compiled.

3o. - The result of the smartripper, that gave me a m2v and a vob(only with audio) I guess that was not only a synch problem, but no audio at least at the last chapter.

4o. Then, I did try to ripper the first dvd with the smartripper again, not demuxing this time, but only to get another vobs, like I am used to do, to then use the dvd2avi to get an audio file......and then reencoder with the tmpgenc, but I got a synch problem again.

I don't know what to do now.
