Ok I have my dvd set up for a dual audio and selectable subtitles. the VOB has no audio on it and the audio tracks are seperate ac3 files. my problem is when I compile the disc dvd lab asks to demultiplex the vob files. (22min episode length. four of them.) It needs to do this in order to allow the audio tracks I added to be playable with the video. now it starts to demultiplex and then it gets to around 24% give or take a few, and just hangs. Nothing happens from here. I have left it running for hours to see if it was just a glitch in the feedback readout but nothing.
Is this a common problem? and how might I fix it?

    thanks.

I'm not real familiar with dvd-lab, but would it be possible to demux the VOBs with something like VOBEdit and just import the M2Vs (and possibly the subtitles) as assets into DVD-lab instead ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

As suggested, demux elsewhere, then come into DVD Lab. If it is hanging, I'd be concerned about the quality of the source material.

First off... DVD-Lab needs to have the files demuxed to fullfill all norms.

I agree that if the demuxing prcess freezes than there might be a problem with the original stream. Mpeg2VCR has a built-in tool that can check for and correct such errors.

  5. PVAStrumento should also work.
