Hello,
I'am a newbie. I just following the topic under DVD Rip about ripping. When I use TMPGEnc and i looked at the result I see some part are nice but the part with a lot of movement are filled with block. I does not look nice at all.
Is this normal or did I do something wrong.
Please Help

Dont expect perfect quality first thing. Mess with the settings or use the templates found in the tools section.

if you want to keep a good looking picture put you Motion Precision on High qaulity that will tkae off some blocks an use some of the cutom made template on the toolz section

I sort of took the easy way out. I just use the TIbrO VideoCD template, and increase the bitrate. It looks great at anything over 1500. Of course, you'll need Nero or something that can burn a non-compliant VCD. Some DVD players won't play it, but I've yet to find one.
Your results are probably normal at standard 1150 kbps VCD.
