A friend of mine from India sent me some video he recorded on a DVD-R. But my Panasonic DMR-E75 is giving me an error when I try to play it.
I'm guessing it's b/c of the Region that is set. I have done alot of googling and come up empty with how to make it Region Free.
Does anyone know what the remote commands are to remove the Region 1 setting?
Thanks

is it possible that the disc format your friend sent is PAL and your panny deck is an ntsc machine? that would give an error if it cannot/does not read a PAL disc

I tried playing a DVD-R that I made as well and it gives me an error. I know this DVD works fine in my other DVD player.

I tried the DVD again on a different DVD player... No problems.
Has anyone else had this problem with this player? -
