I made up a DVD for someone and believed it was error free and everything but the feedback was this one program I made had a picture that intermittently flickered on and off as it played. The soundtrack is fine. I may have used the Quicktime Pro trick to make it 4:3 letterbox before encoding as it was 640x352 pixels.

I don't have info on the DVD player being used.

It was encoded pro DVD via Squeeze and DVDSP mounted. The only thing I can think where I went wrong was maybe the file was Progressive Scan and it's being played on a DVD player that doesn't recognize that.

Q: Can a progressive scan video be played okay on non-progressive scan DVD players? Should interlaced (bottom fleld first, for example) only be used? This is the only thing I can think that may have created playback problems.

Thanks in advance.
