Anyone know why the site Hirescovers.com is down?

This was the best sites for me to get covers since I don't have a scanner to scan my originals.....

I noticed that the site was down 2 days ago. Hopefully it comes back online soon. Love the covers there.

It probably won't be back, the studios (particularly Disney) regularly crack down on cover sites.

They either exceeded their monthly bandwitdh allotment, or somehow violated their host's TOS. I'd expect it to return at the first of July.

ok, lets get this straight!

First, we have not shut down the site ourselves, the host have, for unknown reasons decided to shut us down. Either we have exceeded the monthly bandwidth or that we might be [late] with payment (unlikely on both) but still we do not know why the site is down. Both admin and I have tried to contact them via e-mails, without any kinds of replies. I/he will call them first thing monday morning to straight this thing out, hopefully we'll have it back til monday. If (and I say IF) the host has decided to shut us down, they have done it the wrong way, we have not got any notification letters (electronical or stone age) so therefore this has to be just temporary. And if companies like Disney has sent letters to the host about "copyrighted material" they have to notify us on their plans for the site etc - which has not happened!

To those who started the roumors about hirescovers.com being closed forever I will only say one thing: No, hirescovers will live on, worst case scenario; we'll have to move to another host which will take us a few more weeks/days and alot of work. But first, we need to get in contact with our present host...

The one thing that blows the credibility of those sites (like hirescovers) is that 80-90% of their cvers are for movies that are currently in theaters or movies that haven't even come to theaters yet.

Makes it very warez-ish.
