I had ADSL for a long time, my PC (English OS) and my girls PC (Japanese OS). We ran it through a router, and we both had no problem with the internet connection. About a year back, we got cable internet cause it was faster and cheaper. I also changed my girls PC to an English OS...now neither of our PC's seems to be able to connect when going through the router. Is this possibly a problem with the router, or is it the OS...both??

Sound like a router problem to me. Have you reset the router by any chance?
Your base? Well, they belong to me now... -
Try upgrading your router to the latest firmware.
I also had problems with my ADSL router, it kept disconneting from the internet. Upgrading to the latest firmware seemed to solve the problem. -
Well...I started everything from scratch...my PC worked without even installing the utility CD (English OS) but my girls still doesn't work. This sucks...
