  1. Hi there, Im relatively new to authoring VCDs, and every now and then i run into a problem.
I download the file through a torrent network. Most recent one was batman begins, so ill talk thru step by step how i put it to CD and the problem.

The filesized was 1.15 GB, i extracted using WinRAR, and then used ISO buster to extract AVSEQ1.DAT and AVSEQ2.DAT from CD1 and CD2.
I converted the files from .DAT (which im not sure what is and with other files i normally convert from MPG) to VCD using WinAVI video converter.

I didnt have to with this file, but normally i also split the flie using AVI MPEG ASF File SPlitter into two chunks and then convert the chunks if they need to be.

I watch the files on my PC and everything is ok.
I use nero to create a Video CD and proceed to put the two chunks onto two seperate CD's.
Nero Burns them and everything is fine.
I play the VCDs on a stand alone DVD player whick i got a hack for to play VCDS.
The film starts and at the beginning there is a jumpy noise to teh audio that goes away soon, only to leave the auido around 2-3 seconds ahead of the video.
Sometimes its only 2-3 seconds, other times its nearer 5 seconds. Its really frustraing me as i dont know what to do.
Please tell me where im going wrong, and any help would be hugely appreciated.
Sorry if this is long, but as i understand it, the more info for you experts, the better.
    Regards,
    Jack
