I have a Sony analog camcorder. It has the red white and yellow connectors and I want to be able to hook this up to my laptop. My laptop has USB ports and everything. I was wondering what kind of adaptor do I need to get so that I can put all the footage from the camcorder to my hard drive so I can work with them and eventually create a DVD out of them.

How about a PCMCIA capture card? Or as a alternative, there are a few external capture boxes that have a USB 2.0 output.

Ohh...so I need a capture card not just a little adaptor thing to make it go from red yellow and white to USB. I dont know anything about capture cards. Does anyone have any suggestions?
