My ears!!!!! Please do not shout ( CAPS )

It means exactly what you are seeing. Your files are too large to fit. Some dvds that take up the full capacity of a DVD-9 ( dual layer ) original will in some cases not shrink to fit. I believe the max that shring can do ir around 50% compression. It would seem that it should work but some movies will still show part of it in the red zone. Movie only re-author will solve that in most cases. I mean do you really need to keep all that junk and the crappy menus they put into H Wood DVDs? Shrinking to 50% will definite not loog so good either.

No one will help you if you shout - it's very impolite.

That said (and assuming you are more polite next time), have you checked the compression settings ?

Depending on the disk, Shrink cannot always get down to legal size ont he first pass. This is rare, but not unheard of. Your options are to blank out some items, reauthor as movie only, or Shrink it once, then load the results back in and shrink again.

Look up the guides for DVD Shrink. They will reveal all (start with the guides menu to the left, or look up Shrink in the tools section for guide links).

You should also keep this to a single post, or the mods will spank you.

If you want to retain functional menus, you can highlight (click) EXTRAS (left side) then select Still Image from the drop down menu on the right.

If you just want the main movie without menus & extras, Re-author (big button up top) and drag the main movie title from the right side to the left. Either way, make sure compression is set to "Automatic."
