    I am looking for a DVD-player or recorder that has fire wire I/O or DV I/O connector, can anybody help?

    All these DVD recorders have a firewire I/O (althought the output function only works with playback of discs that are not copy protected)

    Hi from Greece.

    I would like to know if I can use the DV out to connect my laptop with DVD-Recorder and copy files from its hard disk to the laptop's hard disk.

    If not, maybe it's preferable to buy pioneer 530 than 720?
