<playlist id="play1">
<prev ref="select-mainmenu"/>
<next ref="select-mainmenu"/>
<return ref="select-mainmenu"/>
<wait>0</wait>
<autowait>0</autowait>
<play-item ref="seq-part-1"/>
<play-item ref="seq-part-2"/>
<play-item ref="seq-part-3"/>
<play-item ref="seq-part-4"/>
<play-item ref="seq-part-5"/>
</playlist>
so, it is pretty obvious. this is supposed to play references seq-part-1 to seq-part-5 with out pause, one after an other.
i made a vcd with playlist and others and burnt it and played it on PowerDVD. it works fine.
the thing is with STHSVCD, when this playlist is activated it only plays the first reference seq-part-1 and the stops, where it should continue on to seq-part-2 ...
and I-Video CD player crashes immediately.
is this a problem with the above players or is this playlist format wrong ???

Your XML is fine.
Interesting report you made though... Perhaps those two S/VCD players can't handle multiple play-items per playlist. I would suggest then that you create a separate playlist for each play-item.
