  1. I'm putting this svcd on a disk with menus and stuff with dvd lab. Made the video and audio folders. I can play back the movie fine with PowerDVD, but when I try to burn with Nero, it says:

    DVD-Video Files Reallocation Started
File Size is not a multiple of logical block size (2KB)
    DVD-Video Files Reallocation Failed
The resulting DVD may not be playable

Not sure what to do. I tried opening all the ifos with IfoEdit and hitting Get VTS Sectors. But I don't think that did anything because still doesn't work. So far only thing I can think of doing is remaking the dvd in DVD Lab or reauthoring in DVD Shrink. Any ideas?

  2. I opened the vts1 ifo file and went to VOB Extras, stripping all the vob ids and audio streams. Hopefully that'll work at a quicker pace.

Because I started the process on DVD Lab and estimated time remaining was like 8 hours. I think Ifoedit is faster since it just processes the files and not the video I think.

I have only seen the "file reallocation" error in Nero when trying to split a DVD into 2 discs. What that means is that some VOB is missing but required by the split disc. If you see this error, I do NOT recommend burning the disc anyway. I tried that and the disc would not play in a standalone player.

However, it would appear from what you said that you have some kind of file creation problem. I have never used DVD-Lab, but it sounds like it didn't do something correctly in the authoring process. Stripping will work only if it gets the file size down to a multiple of the logical block size.

I have to admit that what you say just sounds odd. DVD-Lab should work correctly if you really did only what you say.

Well.. Never had this problem before. Don't know. Not sure what I could do wrong. IFOEdit worked like a charm though This program is the best for reprocessing of vobs/ifo files. I was shocked that dvd shrink was going to take like.. 8-9 hours. IFOEdit got the job done in like.. 15-20 min
