AVI files killing me - Need good converting Software

Help me please! I have 2 AVI files that i need combine into one MPG file or one dvd file. Both AVI files are part A & B of each other.

Need to know what is the best and the quickest software to have this done?

divxtodvd, hold in ctrl when you open the avi and just selcect both. convert.

Join with virtual dub.Then use dvd2svcd (www.doom9.org)use with cinema craft encoder or TMPGEnc (SVCD VCD DVD)output then use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6" to make chapter and files and then it burns it for you(DVD)..

svcd2dvd (www.svcd2dvd.com) You just put in your 2 AVI OR xvid ,away you go convert to a nice 4.37gb dvd,this will also burn it and make a simple menu if you want one,NEEDS NET FRAMEWORK THOUGH(free)You can convert up to 2gb for nought .It will convert svcd vcd avi divx easily.Hope this helps a little.. :P

Stay away from them b******* encoders such as NERO and all the other crap ones too many too mention...
