1.First I rename VRO to mpg, but neither Premiere nor WMP can recognise this mpg whole , losing a lot of segment. Only MPC can play it successfully.
2.By which software should I convert VRO to AVI without losing any
quality ? Or should I convert it to MPG ?
3.Will AVI or MPG converted from VRO(1.25G) exceed 4G ? I'm fat32.
Thank you!

Top item for "VRO to AVI" using Google turned up this.
I'm sure there is more where that came from...

virtualdub-mpeg2 and output to dv avi, huffyuv or frameserve to premiere
or try open the vro with dgindex, https://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?guideid=759&howtoselect=6;34#759 -
I try,virtualdub-mpeg2 and flaskmpeg are feasible.
But how large the AVI will be ?? Originally I thought this AVI would be 13GB per hour, but when I convert VRO(15'37'';866MB) to AVI , the AVI exceed 3.7GB when the rate of progress is 15%, the length of AVI is also only 2'14''.
I can't imagine how large the AVI will be finally. Why it is so large ? -
You are obviously saving as uncompressed AVI. That's good if you don't want to lose quality, bad if you don't have lots of HDD space. Hyffyuv codec reduces output size by half, and is still lossless.
