My mate transfered a video of my grans birthday onto DVD+R. We've just tried play it in a few macs at work and none of them can read it. Is there a quick fix – how I can read this disc. The main computer I work with is:
Dual 1.8 GHz G5
ATA-6 Bus
PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-107D:
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Model: PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-107D
Revision: A707
Drive Type: CD-RW/DVD-RW
Disc Burning: Apple Supported/Shipped
Removable Media: Yes
Detachable Drive: No
Protocol: ATAPI
Unit Number: 0
Socket Type: Internal
Is there anything else you need to know. Can I just update some software?
Cheers in advance.
PS
I need to work this out as quick as possible cause it's supposed to be a fathers day present.

As long as you are running OS 10.3 or 10.4 there should be no problem with mounting DVD+R media and playing those DVDs on that Mac.
If the DVD was burned on a standalone DVD recorder it needs to be finalized before it can be played on other devices, such as a Mac. -
OK - cheers for the quick reply. I'll get back to my mate cause he may not have finalised the DVD.
