    Hi,

I've been using DVD Lab Pro for a while now to convert SVCDs to DVD and I have been very happy with the results.

however, all of a sudden I seem to be having problems with this software. I import the joined .mpg file as usual and DVD Lab Pro goes through the demuxing process as normal but when it's finished, for some reason only the audio file shows up in the application and the video file is missing. Normally I would just drag the audio and video files into the project property screen and add the chapters, etc but it's just not letting me do this.

The .mpg file that I'm importing is the video and sound and the file plays fine on the p.c. I have tried other .mpds also with the same result.

Do I have some settings astray or something?

Hope to hear from some of you.

    Thanks,

    Dave.

In the directory where it demuxed, do you have an mpv file ? If so, that is your video elementary stream.

    Hi guns1inger,

    Thanks for replying so quickly.

Being at work at the moment, I currently do not have access to to home machine which is having the problems so excuse me if I sound a little vague right now.

Now when I've demuxed with DVD Lab Pro prior to this weekend the end result would have been two files - the sound and also the .mpv, which of course can just be dragged into the project properties window to commence authoring.

Since this weekend, the demuxing results in just the sound file appearing in DVD Lab. Strange thing is that an .mpv file is created on my desktop after demuxing, but the file size is zero!

D'you think that I might have some kind of setting wrong or something. This prog when used with Womble has always worked great for me in the past, so I'd rather fix this one rather than move on to alternative software.

    Cheers,

    Dave.

O.K. - Now sorted out. The .mpv file would not load up in project properties because the aspect ratio setting was set to the wrong resolution under properties in DVD Lab.

Now going like a good un just like before.

    Dave.
