  1. I extracted a sound file from a movie, when i put it into different sound encoders they state that theres no audio file.If i play the file in windows media player it plays the sound fine.I used virtualdub mod to extract the sound from the movie.I then converted the movie using tmpgenc, but when i try to multiplex the movie and sound back together tmpgenc tells me that its a illegal mpeg file. What do i need to do to make this sound work with the movie?

Did you save it out as a WAV file with VDMod? If you just demuxed it, that can be a problem. What does VDMod say about the audio file?
