    After I convert my avi file to dvd it is still in color until I burn it using CloneDVD when playing it it is Black and White could this be my graphics card. Thanks for any help.

    is it playing black in B&W on your computer, or your dvd player (the one thats connected to your tv)?

    it' playing b&w on my dvd player on the computer it is in color

    you probably converted it to PAL... seeing as how your'e in new york, you're using NTSC.. you might see if there is a setting for the output type on your dvd player.. set it to NTSC (or multi).. otherwise you'll have to re-encode the avi file to NTSC. or buy a multi-system dvd player.
