    Hey,I was wondering how to change the sound from mono to stereo on my Samsung DVD Recorder.

    When I am recording off TV I hit record,then it flashes the time on top of the screen with "mono" I am assuming that means its recording in mono and not stereo.Any help would be appreciated.

    Many of the cheapie recorders only allow mono recording through their TV tuners. Better check your manual...

    Many channels still broadcast mono, not stereo. Especially basic cable.

    actually I lost the manual,well,i guess misplaced it...I have digital cable,so any help would be appreciated.
