Hi,
HOw can I remove macrovision from VHS NTSC (I guest it is because the video is recorded with a green screen on top of the movie) with software, not hardware ?
I'm using VirtualDub ro capture the video from my JVC SVHS HR-S991U, the preview looks perfect, but when I record, the green block is there. I tried to use both the digital TBC, and also the Video stabilazer, that come built-in, and the problem prevails.
Is there somthing I can do ? without buying an external TBC or something similiar ?
Also I have a phillips DVD recorder DVDR-615,
same problem. doesn't allow me to record.
Please help !!!

Get a capture card that ignores macrovision. I know of no way of refiltering once it has been captured, the damage is done.
