I'm hoping people can offer a helping hand.
First, let me state that I'm a no frills sort of guy when it comes to my encoding and burning. I mainly do archived copies of MST3K and I want speed and simplicity to eventually complete my set of all episodes.
My normal modus operandi was to convert to DVD (witht he VOBs and such) with WinAVI. I would then compile them and burn them with TMPGEnc DVD Author.
The reulsts were, as I said, no frills but quite satisfactory for my purposes. This worked just fine for awhile and now...
Well, now I'm missing sound files. Before these issues started, I would simply add the VOB (say VOB_1) in TMPGEnc as the video and would add VOB_1 as the audio file. Now, some of the VOBs which I add don't have the corressponding sound files. For instance, add VOB_1, get error message that sound file is missing, manually try to add VOB_1 for the audio file and it states that it's not in the proper format.
It's rather strange and any help is much appreciated.
