I obtrained a MOV file, which i wanted to convert to AVI.
So i used RAD tools to do it, which seemed to work ok.
But the output video wouldn't play. I opened it in VirtualDub and it said that there was a missing index block. and there were no keyframes. So i just did a direct stream copy of both audio and video to make a new video. Now this one played fine. However if i click on the search bar to go somewhere leter in the video then it will take for ever to do it. And i mean counting in hours.
this cannot be right.
I tried to do a fast recompress of the video in VirtualDub. But it ended up with garbled video.
So i am stuck. Not too much of a big deal, but would like to fix it.
