Offline, I'm using the OEM Windows XP, Compaq....I can say that If I install it on another computer I requires activation but we're talking about the computer it came with...It doesn't require activation so maybe the coding on the disc is causing "SpyBot" to think it's DSO Exploits....what do you think?
Is what we learn indeed a fact, or someones opinon?

2. I've read various reviews on Panda now and I'm even less certain I want to try it. There seem to be a lot of conflicts with it, especially if you ever want to uninstall it. I've also seen many reports of it's Anti-Spyware deleting things before you have a chance to figure out what they are, even if they are false positives. The same goes for viruses. From what I'm hearing it likes to delete them with no option of a restore if they were a false positive. I may just stick with AVG or switch to Avast at home and try this on the PC at work

3. @ Poppa_Meth: It uninstalls ok. It is automatic on
the spyware and anti viruses through - hence the
large and frequent updates to help make sure
nothing incorrect is deleted.

BTW I use AVG on my personal stuff. As I said before
both are good, Panda is more for SOHO's.

@macrovision

Perhaps, I have never run it myself.

4. Thats why I think I'll try it at work first. It's not my PC at risk that way.

6. I like and use on 3 home computers, Trend Micro Internet Security 2005. Last year I used their Antivirus software and had no complaints and at the 1st. of this year Cnet listed it as the top product. I also run Spybot 3 or 4 times a week, & I love it. Here are some free tools you might like to try http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

I've also found that there is no one s...br /> Mahalo!

Plus you run the risk of conflicts and it is hardly a genuine review.
Some (I won't name which) antivirus programs are set to be
over sensitive and thus report false positives which can impress
the lay person. Two that I know of will report a competitors
reference file or av test file as a real virus. :/
