i downloaded two media files and incorrectly named 1 of them .wmf wheras it plays in all media players, unlike the other which i named .wmv
i cannot edit it in nero windows movie maker etc, is there any tool programme to convert the incorrectly named .wmf file?
any help would be highly appreciated.

And if you don't know; In 'Folder Options', make sure you uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types' if you want to see and change the extensions.

That is so very, very helpfull of you all I am delighted. Yesterday i called a comp helpline £1 every 30 seconds after £25 i gave up you have solved it for me and with style, I am so gratefull
