    no sound after converting avi to svcd using tmpgenc + toolame or scmpx as audio encoder...

    What's the source audio format?
    General solution is to extract audio out of the AVI and convert it to wav, then use wav as audio source, AVI as video source when encoding.

    the audio format is " mpeg layer III " i also insatalled mpeg layer II & III encoder in tmpgenc the audio encoder caled "SCMPX" if u know it...do u have any suggestions please?


    maybe i have to change any defnitions on tmpgenc in order for hear te sound?

    I quote myself. Use VirtualDub for demuxing audio and convert to wav.
