I'm thinking of buying an html editor for my site, do you have any recommendations of any great html editors I should buy? I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive. I would like to it to have WYSIWYG and code built in so I can view it in both. Or are there any really good freeware editors out there? Also it needs to have support for php pages and css.

I would go with Crimson Editor.
I've never liked WSIWYG editors, as they tend to over-code the pages. I usually have the page open in a browser, edit, then hit reload. -

I have not done html coding for a long time. But back then I used Macromedia Dreamweaver to generate the basic template, form, etc. and then used TextPad to do fine editing.

Coffee Cup, it's has just about everthing. Originally a text editor it now also supports both text editing and WYSIWYG. The best of both worlds. I haven't tried out the WYSIWYG part but the text editor is considered one of the best.

I forgot about coffeecup - good app from way back ..
Which reminded me about InnovaStudio. They are supposed to be excellent with many good reviews on their html tools .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

I'd hate to see your customer satisfaction ratings if this is how you take a little (tongue-in-cheek) criticism. Don't be such a cry-baby. And sorry, I don't whip mine out for just anyone

That was made in Cool 3-D, it's dirt cheap and quite versatile. I use it mostly for making video animations. It does more than text.
