Time has come to buy more DVD+Rs. However i noticed the nice Red wrapped packs i'm used to buying have gone up in price and moneys a bit tighter lately, and i noticed this nice little 50pk for $15:

RITEK is supposed to be an all-around excellent brand, but what is the difference between the cheaper spindle above and the usual Red wrapped packs such as these:
$24.00

Is there a quality difference? Why is the packageing between the two so different?

The Ritek brand is sold by many companies. Some only sell A grade, but others have been know to sell lower grade disks from the same manufature.
Not bothered by small problems...

ritek even sold lower media as a grade and got in trouble for it, well maybe they didnt get in trouble but they got a lot of bad press, another reason i never use ritek disc's
i dont need to when i can use better media for the price -
Amazon.com has Verbatim DVD+R 8x for $34.99 with free shipping most of the time.
They were $29.99 yesterday so I have some on the way.
